We are getting ready for the return of some popular Disneyland nighttime extravaganzas and one of the exciting ones that is coming back is World of Color at Disney California Adventure. This enchanting show features water, fire, fog, lights, music and the magic of Disney storytelling.
The show itself brings favorite animated stories to life from beloved Disney and Pixar films. The show features dancing fountains on Paradise Bay, creating a fantastic movie screen of water. In addition, lasers are mixed with a soaring soundtrack. The show features scenes from WALL-E and Eve, Pocahontas, and you’ll even see Jack Sparrow. The show also features characters from characters from “Finding Nemo,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Toy Story,” “Aladdin,” “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Lion King.”
Virtual Queue
When World of Color returns, Disney will be adding a virtual queue to help Guests view this popular show. This virtual queue is only accessible via the Disneyland mobile app. Beginning April 22, Guests can begin accessing the virtual queue beginning at noon. If you are able to make it into the virtual queue, you will receive a notification via the Disneyland app. It will share with you which to designated viewing area to enter. Guests will either need to enter the Blue or Yellow entrance, approximately 45 minutes before the show begins.
If the virtual queue reaches capacity, Guests will want to visit the Paradise Bay viewing area. You’ll want to do this shortly before World of Color begins to see if there are any walk-up viewing options available. Joining the virtual queue for World of Color is not required, but it is highly recommended.
