Once again, the Disneyland Resort is partnering with the U.S. Marines in their annual Toys for Tots drive. This weekend, Guests who visit the Downtown Disney District may drop off a new, unwrapped toy for those in need on December 7 and 8 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. near the Downtown Disney District LIVE! stage.
For those who would like to purchase their donations at the resort, there will be a convenient way to purchase toys for donation at a pop-up shop between Disney’s Pin Traders and the Downtown Disney District monorail station.
Toys for Tots and the Walt Disney Company go way back. The tradition of supporting the program dates back to Walt Disney, as Walt personally supervised the creation of the Toys for Tots logo that is still used to this day. Disney was also was a founding sponsor of the program when it debuted back in 1947.
