Announced at the D23 Expo was the new Disneyland parade called Magic Happens. This new parade will debut on February 28 and will celebrate moments of magic that are at the heart of so many Disney stories. Magic Happens will feature an energetic musical score and a new song, co-composed by singer-songwriter Todrick Hall.

Kicking off the daytime parade will be Mickey Mouse himself.  Other floats will include Anna and Elsa from Frozen 2 who explore the mysteries of an enchanted forest protected by Nokk, the mystical water spirit, as well as Kristoff, Sven and Olaf.

Miguel from Coco will appear in person for the first time and will celebrate the magic that happens when he strums the guitar of Ernesto de la Cruz. This float bridges the Land of the Living and the Land of the Dead with vibrant marigolds, and fantastical alebrije spirit animals join the procession, along with Miguel’s dog Danté.
