This summer’s brand new Pixar film, “Elemental” is going to be included as part of the Disney California Adventure nighttime show, World of Color – ONE.
Beginning June 2, 2023 and for a limited time, a new water short titled “Elemental Connection” will take place. It will highlight the story and characters from the film, “Elemental,” will be presented ahead of World of Color — ONE.
The short will feature brilliant projections that will dance across the show’s vast water screens. During this two-minute pre-show, Guests will see the land, air, water and fire residents of Element City come to life. In the story, fire element Ember and water element Wade discover that though the world tells them they can’t coexist, they are more alike than they realize. As fountains and music fill Paradise Bay, you’ll see that stepping out of your element may help you uncover who you really are, just like Ember and Wade.
World of Color features more than 1,200 fountains erupt together to create elaborate patterns, dancing to music. Together with fire effects, fog, lasers and animation projected on the water screens create a spectacular display across the lagoon of Paradise Pier at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort.
