It was recently announced that the Disneyland Resort would be retiring and restructuring their Annual Passholder system. Those Passholders who held active Passports as of March 14, 2020 will now be known as Disneyland Resort Legacy Passholders; at least until new membership offerings are announced.
Legacy Passholders will be able to enjoy some extras including special merchandise, as well as food and beverage offerings. In addition, for a limited time, regular Passport discounts have been extended. These will be available at select locations around Downtown Disney District and Buena Vista Street.
Also, for a limited time, Annual Passholders can currently save 30% on select merchandise. This discount is available Monday through Thursday at select Downtown Disney District and Buena Vista Street locations through February 25, 2021. Following this date, normal discounts will continue to be available to those Annual Passholders who held active Passports as of March 14, 2020. These discounts will be based on Passport type until new membership offerings are announced.
While things are still in flux with the unannounced program, Disney shared that they are also working on adding even more magic. When details are announced with the new program, we’ll be sure to share those details with you.
