With The Lion King hitting theaters this summer, the hype is huge for the upcoming live action version of the film. To celebrate the movie, Guests will be able to visit Disney California Adventure to catch a new stage production called Tale of the Lion King.
This outdoor musical production will occur on the Palisades Stage and will present the tale of The Lion King. It will include the Storytellers of the Pride Lands, a cast of 18 performers which include actors, singers, dancers and drummers. The retelling of the story will be told in a contemporary style, and these performers will weave the tale through song, language, and dance.

Tale of the Lion King will take place for a limited time this summer, starting June 7.
