Can you believe it’s already Fourth of July week? If you’ll be at Disneyland, you’ll have lots of great ways to celebrate.
First, Guests will want to head to Town Square, where from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., only on July 4, they will find Mickey Mouse in patriotic attire.
Then, in the evening, catch “Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky”. The fireworks spectacular will take place at 9:30 p.m.
Of course there will be lots of great Americana merchandise that can be picked up like Spirit Jerseys, t-shirts, dresses, Minnie Ears, light-up necklaces, place settings and more. These will only be available for a limited time at the Emporium and at Pioneer Mercantile in Disneyland, at Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure, and at World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District.
At the resorts, there will also be some unique fun.
At Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, on July 4 only, from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., Guests will be able to take part in a Fourth of July family BBQ at the rooftop The Sand Bar. A special a la carte menu will be available and it will include short rib brisket burgers, all-beef hot dogs, street corn on the cob and specialty drinks. Live music will start at 6:00 p.m. and there will be complimentary family activities and face painting available. This offering is open to the public and does not require a hotel reservation.
At the Disneyland Hotel, from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., hotel Guests can choose to participate in family activities, listen to live music, get complimentary face painting done, sit for a caricature and enjoy tasty delights on the hotel’s Magic Kingdom Lawn.
Finally, at the Downtown Disney District, enjoy many different snacks and beverages themed to the occasion. At Wetzel’s Pretzels, get a Frozen Cherry Boba Lemonade, at Splitsville Luxury Lanes there’s the Firecracker Cocktail, Salt & Straw will have Berry Ice Creams, Sprinkles will sell a 4th of July Box or Americana Mini Sampler andBlack Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes will offer up the Red, White & Blue Cake Shake.
