To prevent your skewer sticks from burning, soak them in some water before using them. While they are soaking, you can finely chop the onion, coriander, and parsley until they are very fine. Cut your steak into cubes, approximately of one inch. Then mix the chopped ingredients, the steak, and the paprika and cumin until well combined.
Once your skewers are thoroughly damp, place the steak cubes onto the skewers. Meanwhile, heat a BBQ grill to high heat (or alternatively, you can use the broiler in your stove). You will want to cook the kebabs for a few minutes on each side for medium (pink in the middle).
Again, you will want to soak your wooden skewers to keep them from setting on fire. While they are soaking, you can finely chop the parsley, coriander, and garlic until they are very fine. Cut your chicken into cubes of approximately one inch. Then mix the chopped ingredients with the cumin, olive oil, lemon juice and chicken. Mix the ingredients until they are uniform and each piece of chicken has been coated.
When the skewers are damp, place the chicken pieces onto them. Meanwhile, heat a BBQ grill (or oven broiler) to high heat. You will want to cook the chicken kebabs for 5-6 minutes on each side to ensure they are cooked all the way through.
