Welcome to Wrapped With Love in California Adventure<\/em><\/p>\r\n Believe it or not, this year is the first time I\u2019ve been able to experience Lunar New Year<\/a> at Disneyland\u2019s<\/a> California Adventure<\/a>. The decorations for the Year of the Rabbit were really cool. Of course, they paid homage to all the Disney rabbits. One in particular got a lot of attention!<\/p>\r\n Oswald the Lucky Rabbit welcomes the Year of the Rabbit<\/em><\/p>\r\n There were many food booths offering Asian favorites. My family decided to try one called Wrapped With Love. This spot offered different wontons and dumplings. We ordered two items: Pork and Shrimp Wontons and Bok Choy and Mushroom Dumplings. Each order came with Black Garlic Sauce. Each order cost $8.75.<\/p>\r\n Wrapped With Love Menu<\/em><\/p>\r\n Each order contained three wontons or dumplings. Since we are a family of three, this meant everyone could try both. We took our food to a nearby seating area. Beverages, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic, are also sold at Wrapped With Love.<\/p>\r\n Ample seating<\/em><\/p>\r\n I dove into the Pork and Shrimp Wontons first\u2026.and I neglected to take a photo of them. (You can see a photo in the menu, pictured above.). The wontons were a nice texture and the minced pork and shrimp was very flavorful. The pork flavor was stronger than the shrimp flavor, and they definitely did not skimp on the filling.<\/p>\r\n Bok Choy and Mushroom Dumplings and Black Garlic Sauce<\/em><\/p>\r\n Next, I tried the Bok Choy and Mushroom Dumplings. This is a plant-based item. I happen to love veggies, so I was excited to try these. These were fantastic. Each dumpling was packed with veggies, and I wish I could have eaten all three! The Black Garlic dipping sauce went well with each item and was not overly spicy.<\/p>\r\n The entrance to the Lunar New Year celebration<\/em><\/p>\r\n I did find it odd that both these items had the same price. Traditionally, items with meat and\/or seafood are priced higher than those with only vegetables. I should point out that I enjoyed these items during the Moonlight Magic event, in which each member of my family received three $10 vouchers for food. If I was paying out of pocket for these snacks, I might have hesitated to try them. For the same amount of money I could have ordered a complete meal at a quick-service restaurant.![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/LunarNewYear-400x400.jpg\")

Disney lists these items as snacks, and because of the portion size, that\u2019s pretty accurate. Even if I had an entire order to myself, it would not have filled me up as a meal. In fact, I\u2019m not even sure if both these items together would make a filling meal. Keep that in mind.
I really enjoyed the offerings here. They were very tasty and made for a nice snack. Just don\u2019t come to this booth thinking that you\u2019re going to get a full meal. With that in mind, if you\u2019re a fan of wontons and dumplings, this spot will serve you well.
