Disneyland Park decked out for Halloween<\/em><\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n I haven\u2019t been back to Disneyland<\/a> since November 2019. In that time, I\u2019ve missed the Happiest Place on Earth terribly. Well, we\u2019re going back to Disneyland! My family and I (possibly accompanied by some friends) will be spending a day at Disneyland Park<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n Model of Galaxy’s Edge<\/em><\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n So many things have changed since our last visit, so I\u2019m doing everything I can to familiarize myself with the way things are working at Disneyland now. All in all, we\u2019re still expecting to have a magical experience, but it\u2019s good to know what we need to do differently. <\/p>\r\n Disneyland Park decked out for winter<\/em><\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n Under current Disneyland guidelines, masks will be required indoors for all guests. My family and I have found well-fitting masks that we are comfortable wearing for long periods of time. In addition, my daughter and I have eyeglass chains attached to our masks so that we can hang them around our neck when we are eating or drinking.<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n Galaxy’s Edge<\/em><\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n I\u2019ve spent some time researching the best way to get a boarding pass for Rise of the Resistance, and I\u2019ve also warned everyone in our party that it is highly possible that we won\u2019t get one. I\u2019ve downloaded the Disneyland app. I\u2019m planning on switching to data well before we arrive at the front gates. And I\u2019m trying very hard to explain to my family how imperative it is that we get to those front gates before the posted opening time.<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n Should I wear this mask?<\/em><\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n Right now, the hours for our Disneyland day have not been posted, but by looking at comparable days, I\u2019m working on the assumption that the park will open at 8:00am. This means we\u2019re going to have to leave our house at, as my sister-in-law says, zero dark thirty. If we can get those coveted boarding passes, it will be worth it!<\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n My daughter has her mask picked out!<\/em><\/p>\r\n <\/p>\r\n Even if we can\u2019t get boarding passes, we\u2019re planning on heading straight to Galaxy\u2019s Edge as soon as the park opens so that we can ride Smugglers Run. WE\u2019RE GOING TO BE FLEXIBLE<\/h3>\r\n
We all know that plans can change on a dime. Disneyland procedures might change once again before our visit. We have no idea if we\u2019re going to get boarding passes to Rise of the Resistance, or, if we do get them, what time that boarding pass will be good for. We also don\u2019t know what the crowd levels will be like. So, perhaps more than on any previous visit, we know we\u2019ve got to be flexible.
All in all, I can\u2019t wait to get back to my happy place!\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
