Today we have a fun Aladdin inspired family activity for you &#8211; building a Cave of Wonders box fort! This is a great activity for you to do on a rainy day or before a movie night!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_81020\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-81020\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-81020 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/4k-aladdin-animationscreencaps.com-569.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/4k-aladdin-animationscreencaps.com-569.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/4k-aladdin-animationscreencaps.com-569-400x241.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-81020\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Cave of Wonders is one of the highlights of animation in this film!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>There&#8217;s a few things you will need to make this activity happen:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Boxes &#8211; We stock up on Amazon boxes for our crafts!<\/li>\n<li>Scissors or a box knife (or both!)<\/li>\n<li>Tape &#8211; we used duct tape and packing tape<\/li>\n<li>Lights &#8211; Christmas lights would work great for this! Otherwise any battery lights that will stick through the cardboard will work. Then he taped that joint. You cut slits into the flaps and then slide them into each other to make it stronger! We used a smaller box to cover the hole in the back, using the same slit technique to get the boxes to stay together. It&#8217;s not going to fit perfect and that&#8217;s ok. Poke holes into your cardboard to add the lights.
