Understand how Disney Keeps Your Resort Experience Safe<\/h3>\n<p>It&#8217;s important to understand what your hotel is doing to keep you safe when you travel.\u00a0 Disney has published their <a href=\"https:\/\/disneyparks.disney.go.com\/blog\/2020\/06\/an-update-on-disney-resort-hotels-from-katie-kelly-vice-president-of-worldwide-safety-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">enhanced cleaning and safety protocols<\/a>.\u00a0 If you are staying at an offsite hotel you may have to check their website or contact them.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Air out and inspect your room when you get there<\/h3>\n<p>If there are obvious signs that the room was inadequately cleaned call guest services and request a new room.\u00a0 At Disney I would be shocked if this ever happened but it&#8217;s better to be safe than sorry.\u00a0 Leave the door open while you do this to help air out the room.<\/p>\n<h3>5. Isolate Other Items in the Room<\/h3>\n<p>Place items like the TV remote in a zip lock bag where it can be operated successfully with out endangering infection.<\/p>\n<h3>8. Keep your own items safe<\/h3>\n<p>Keep your toiletries inside your toiletry bag.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t put them on the counter or in a glass on the sink.\u00a0 Consider living out of your suitcase rather than unpacking in the bureau.<\/p>\n<h3>9. Contact Housekeeping<\/h3>\n<p>Let them know that you will not need their services during the length of your stay.\u00a0 Reduce the chance of additional pathogens being brought into your room.<\/p>\n<h3>10.
