I also have been quite serious about my health lately, so I\u2019ve managed to tame that tooth of mine. But on a Walt Disney World<\/a> vacation, I know I\u2019m going to be putting in an enormous amount of walking every day, so I allow myself to indulge my sweet tooth! This quick-service location at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort<\/a> offers a Danish assortment, and if the apple turnover is being offered, I always grab one! Flaky on the outside, sweet, but not too sweet, on the inside, this makes for a sweet breakfast or a fabulous dessert. It\u2019s a bit too messy to eat on the go, so I always grab a table when I devour one of these.<\/p>\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/FunnelCake-400x320.jpg\")
<\/p>\r\nFUNNEL CAKE –\u00a0THE AMERICAN ADVENTURE<\/a><\/h2>\r\n
You can find these at an unassuming little kiosk in Epcot\u2019s<\/a> World Showcase. This sweet treat is huge, so unless you\u2019re ravenous, plan on sharing. Made freshly on the premises, this piping-hot fried dough concoction is fantastic when covered in powdered sugar. But if you\u2019re a chocolate lover, you can also get it with chocolate syrup. And if you need something cold to counteract that hot fried goodness, you can get it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Just try to remember not to wear black if you\u2019re going to eat one of these, or the powdered sugar might make you look like one of the 101 Dalmatians.<\/p>\r\n![\"Disney](\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/BlueberryCreamCheeseMousse-400x320.jpg\")

This can be found in Animal Kingdom\u2019s Pandora: The World of Avatar<\/a>. I have to admit, I bought one of these because of its exotic appearance. I was skeptical about the flavor combination, but one bite won me over. The mousse itself is light and tangy, and the passion fruit compote is sweet and fruity. I also sampled the chocolate cake at this location, and I prefer the blueberry dessert!<\/p>\r\n![\"Disney](\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/\u00a9KristenDyer-400x320.jpg\")
<\/p>\r\nDOLE WHIP – ALOHA ISLE<\/h2>\r\n
Do we even need to have this conversation? The icy cold non-dairy pineapple swirled sorbet known as the Dole Whip can be found in the Magic Kingdom\u2019s Adventureland, and also at the Polynesian Village\u2019s Pineapple Lanai. I\u2019ve also had it spiked with rum in Animal Kingdom. My favorite is the classic, unadulterated Dole Whip, but if you want variety, there\u2019s always the Dole Whip Float, where a Dole Whip is served over pineapple juice. A fellow blogger raves about the Dole Whip with raspberry swirl over a pineapple upside-down cake, which she found at Aloha Isle! Although it\u2019s not on the menu now, that looks like something that I want to try if it returns!
