And, of course, Disney recipes from the theme parks have made their appearance on social media. Here are three of my favorite dishes.<\/p>\n<h2>Disney Parks Churro Bites<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong> (Serves 4)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup water<\/li>\n<li>8 tablespoons butter<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>\u00be teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bc cups all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>3 eggs<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bd cups vegetable or canola oil<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Combine 1 cup water, butter, salt, and \u00bc teaspoon cinnamon in a 1 \u00bd-quart saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a rolling boil.<\/li>\n<li>Reduce heat to low.<\/li>\n<li>Add flour and stir vigorously until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat and let rest for 5-7 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add eggs, one at a time, and stir until combined. Set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Using caution, heat oil in a medium skillet or 1-quart saucepan over medium-high heat or until temperature reaches 350?.<\/li>\n<li>Spoon dough into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe a 1-inch strip of dough over saucepan, cut with knife, and drop into hot oil. Repeat until churro bites fill saucepan with room to fry.<\/li>\n<li>Fry churro bites until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon or mesh spider strainer.<\/li>\n<li>Drain churro bites on paper towels.<\/li>\n<li>Mix sugar and remaining \u00bd teaspoon cinnamon in a medium bowl. Toss in churro bites until coated. Place on serving plate and serve with favorite dipping sauces. <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn1.parksmedia.wdprapps.disney.com\/media\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/ChurroBitesRecipe.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here for a print-at-home version of this recipe!<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Mickey Mouse-shaped Beignets<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong> (makes 10 large Mickey Mouse-shaped beignets or 2 dozen small beignets)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon dry yeast<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup warm water (105\u00b0)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons vegetable shortening<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>4 cups all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup boiling water<\/li>\n<li>Vegetable oil for frying<\/li>\n<li>Powdered sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-77793\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Disney-Beignet-recipe.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"395\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Disney-Beignet-recipe.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Disney-Beignet-recipe-400x263.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sprinkle yeast over \u00bc cup warm water in a small bowl, stirring to dissolve. Let stand for 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Combine sugar, shortening, salt, heavy cream, egg, flour, and \u00bd cup boiling water in a large bowl; stir in yeast mixture. With the dough hook attachment of an electric mixer on medium speed, mix the dough just until combined and smooth. Let dough rest for 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Roll to \u00bc-inch thickness and cut individual beignets with a Mickey Mouse-shaped cutter or cut into 2 \u00bd to 3-inch squares. Cover with a towel and let dough rise until doubled in size in a warm, draft-free area, about 1 to 1 \u00bd hours.<\/li>\n<li>Using caution, heat 3 inches of vegetable oil to 350\u00b0F in a deep, heavy pot over medium-high heat. Fry beignets until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes, turning as soon as they brown on one side. If you are looking into a special night for mom and dad, the <strong>Palo Chocolate Souffl\u00e9<\/strong> is the way to go. While it requires some cooking skills, fear not, the recipe\u00a0comes with a how-to video. I recommend that you dress up, light candles, and opt for some soothing music. I love Johann Sebastian Bach, and fans will remember that his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5Img7Xn57c0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Toccata and Fugue in D minor was used in Fantasia<\/a>. And there is always <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YzKkSH7v0D8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bella Nota<\/a> from Lady and the Tramp.<\/p>\n<h2>Palo Chocolate Souffle<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong> (Serves 6)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 tablespoons butter, plus more for greasing the souffl\u00e9 cups<\/li>\n<li>6 tablespoons sugar, plus more for dusting the souffl\u00e9 cups<\/li>\n<li>1 cup milk<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons Dutch-processed cocoa<\/li>\n<li>2 ounces (2\/3 cup) semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, melted<\/li>\n<li>4 eggs, separated<\/li>\n<li>Vanilla Sauce (recipe follows)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-77792\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Palo-Chocolate-Souffle.jpg\" alt=\"Disney Recipes\" width=\"600\" height=\"335\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Palo-Chocolate-Souffle.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Palo-Chocolate-Souffle-400x223.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F.<\/li>\n<li>Set a full kettle of water on to boil.<\/li>\n<li>Butter 6 (4-ounce) souffl\u00e9 cups and coat with sugar; set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Bring milk to a boil in a small saucepan. Meanwhile, melt 3 tablespoons butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and cocoa, and beat with a whisk until a smooth, paste-like consistency. Reduce heat and cook for 1 minute.<\/li>\n<li>Slowly add hot milk, whisking until smooth, and then blend in melted chocolate. Let cool for 5 minutes; stir in egg yolks.<\/li>\n<li>Beat egg whites in a separate bowl until frothy. Slowly add 6 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, until stiff, glossy peaks form. Stir a heaping spoonful of egg whites into the chocolate, and then fold in the remaining whites just until combined.<\/li>\n<li>Pour batter into prepared souffl\u00e9 cups. Place cups in a large baking dish and add enough boiling water to reach halfway up the sides of the souffl\u00e9 cups.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 20 minutes. Serve immediately with warm Vanilla Sauce.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Vanilla Sauce<\/strong> <strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 \u00bc cups heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc vanilla bean, split lengthwise<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 small egg yolks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Bring cream and vanilla bean to a low boil in a saucepan over medium heat.<\/li>\n<li>Combine sugar and egg yolks.<\/li>\n<li>Add 2 spoonfuls of boiling cream to egg mixture and stir well; then pour back into the remaining cream and continue to cook over low heat, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Food is comforting.
