Shortly after we all saw the film, my mom mailed my daughter some sporks and craft supplies so that we could make our own Forky!<br \/><br \/>Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need:<br \/><br \/><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>A spork<\/li>\r\n<li>A rounded popsicle stick (we used popsicle sticks from Julie\u2019s Organic)<\/li>\r\n<li>Red pipe cleaner<\/li>\r\n<li>Googly eyes in two different sizes<\/li>\r\n<li>Shaping compound (modeling clay) in white, blue and red<\/li>\r\n<li>Pink highlighter (we used a Bic Brite Liner)<\/li>\r\n<li>Small rainbow sticker or colored markers<br \/><br \/><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-77798\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ForkyFoot-400x320.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ForkyFoot-400x320.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ForkyFoot.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">STEP ONE:<br \/><br \/>Cut a popsicle stick in half. On one half, either use a rainbow stick or color a rainbow with markers. Forky has this rainbow on his left foot. If you want, write half of your name on the bottom of one foot, and the other half on the other, just like Bonnie did!<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-77803\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ForkyBase-400x320.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ForkyBase-400x320.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ForkyBase.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Next, use modeling clay to attach these to the bottom of a spork as \u201cfeet.\u201d Try your best to keep Forky in position as it dries. Otherwise, he might be a little loose. (Which is not the end of the world.)<br \/><br \/><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-77799 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ForkyArms-400x320.jpg\" alt=\"Forky\" width=\"400\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ForkyArms-400x320.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ForkyArms.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">STEP TWO:<br \/><br \/>Take a long red pipe cleaner and twist it, at the middle, around the stem of the spork. Create three-fingered hands by molding the ends of the pipe cleaner.<br \/><br \/><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-77800 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ForkyEyes-400x320.jpg\" alt=\"Forky\" width=\"400\" height=\"320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ForkyEyes-400x320.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ForkyEyes.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">STEP THREE:<br \/><br \/>Attach googly eyes to the rounded portion of the spork. Forky has his right eye larger than the left. Self-adhesive eyes may or may not work because of the curve in the spork. (It worked for us!) If your eyes are not self-adhesive, glue dots work well.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">STEP FOUR:<br \/><br \/>Color Forky\u2019s cheeks with the highlighter, and then smear them slightly with your finger. (And then wash your hands!) Use a thin strand of blue modeling clay to make his mouth.
