Fun runs occur in the morning at several resorts and last for 1.4 to 1.9 miles. Fun runs are designed to be family friendly and participants can run, walk or stroll some of the prettiest resort areas.<\/p>\n<p>Called the Running of Coronado, the Coronado Springs Fun Run begins and ends at the Gran Destino Tower Plaza. For 1.7 miles the participants have a great view of the Lago Dorado and each of the residential areas.<\/p>\n<p>The 7AM start time is the best of any of the resort fun runs. At 7AM you have time for the run, breakfast and rope drop. Not a bad morning. Currently the Coronado Springs Fun Run takes place on Sunday Mornings. However, as recently as July the run was held on Wednesdays so check with the concierge.<\/p>\n<p>Disney Resort Fun Runs are run most weeks but it is likely that they will not run during runDisney events. You do not have to be a registered guest to run. Registration can be done in a day or two advance at the resort (usually at the community center) or 30 to 60 minutes in advance near the starting line.
