When visiting Disney World, there are many things that first timers want to do, but what about those people returning to Disney World?\u00a0 What are some things that people should do that they don\u2019t typically think about? That’s where these hidden gems come into play.<\/p>\n

Visit The Wave at Disney\u2019s Contemporary Resort<\/h2>\n

When guests think of dining reservations, The Wave isn\u2019t one that typically comes to mind as a place to eat.\u00a0 Yet if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing breakfast, this place should be on your radar. One unique element is that you can order off the menu<\/a>, or you can eat from the breakfast buffet.\u00a0 Personally, I can recommend the Glazed Donut French Toast and the Wave Signature Sweet Potato Pancakes (pictured above).\u00a0 I would highly recommend splitting these two entrees between two or three people as they are plenty of food.<\/p>\n

Watch the Bedtime Stories on the Disney Resort TV channel<\/h2>\n

Whether you are a parent or not, take some time in the evening to catch the Bedtime Stories that Disney airs on the Resort TV channel.\u00a0 These three to four short movies are perfect for putting a child to bed or even to wind down the night.\u00a0 They are animated stories based on a book, so if your child (or you) loves a particular story, the book might make the perfect souvenir to get as a way to remember your trip.\u00a0 The movies play on a continuous rotation throughout the evening.<\/p>\n

See The Muppets Present Great Moments in American History<\/h2>\n
The Muppets in Liberty Square<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Take some time in Magic Kingdom\u2019s Liberty Square to catch a showing of The Muppets Present Great Moments in American History<\/a>.\u00a0 This outdoors presentation is located at the perfect spot to get a snack, sit down, and intentionally catch this show.\u00a0 There are various shows throughout the day that are announced by the town crier.\u00a0 And in typical Muppet fashion, everything might not go like you\u2019ve heard in school, especially with Miss Piggy insisting on having a starring role.\u00a0 The \u201cmoment\u201d changes throughout the day, so feel free to catch this show multiple times for different takes on this hidden gem.<\/p>\n

Get a Treat That You\u2019ve Never Had Before<\/h2>\n

There are so many amazing treats at Disney World that it is impossible to have them all in one trip.\u00a0 Make sure to enjoy your favorites, but also take the opportunity to try something new.\u00a0 Disney does a great job of having a cupcake for every event, so that is always an option.\u00a0 There\u2019s also lots of standard treats such as Dole Whips, Mickey shaped food, and cookies to choose from, so pick a new treat to try.<\/p>\n

See Happily Ever After from Somewhere Besides Inside the Magic Kingdom<\/h2>\n

Fireworks from Top of the World Lounge<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Without a doubt, Happily Ever After<\/a> is a projection and fireworks show, so it needs to be seen from the Hub to receive the full experience.\u00a0 But there is still something special about seeing the show from a location outside of the Magic Kingdom.\u00a0 There are several locations to choose from.\u00a0 These include the beach at the Polynesian, California Grill, Top of the World Lounge, or paying for a private fireworks cruise. All great hidden gems.<\/p>\n
