When planning a trip to Walt Disney World<\/a>, if you are looking to have a little more flexibility than a hotel room but still want the Disney feel, the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort<\/a> are a great choice for a group or family. For the purposes of this review we were a family of three (two adults and a 16 month old), as well as two grandparents.<\/p>\n -You can use Walt Disney World transportation <\/p>\n – There are long walks from bus stops The cabins had WAY more ups than downs for our group!\u00a0 We settled in quickly and had enough room to spread out.\u00a0 Having a 16 month old along on this trip, we were up early and to bed a little earlier than my normal Disney schedule.\u00a0 The cabin really helped with that adjusted schedule.<\/p>\n In the general store we would pick up a pack of eggs and some breakfast sausage to cook up.\u00a0 By the time we were back from the trip our coffee would be cool enough to drink and we could start our cooking.\u00a0 The cabins have a full kitchen so you are able to fry up a good filling breakfast.\u00a0 This is a great way to save some money on food while on your visit.<\/p>\n Showering and getting ready with our mixed group was a breeze, the bathroom and private bedroom offered two areas for privacy.<\/p>\n At night, we were all able to gather at the kitchen table and living room area to wind down\/rest up for the next day.\u00a0 Having the baby sleeping in the closed door bedroom and being close by allowed for a happy and well-rested baby in the morning!<\/p>\n Although, I feel that some of the down sides of the cabins at\u00a0Fort Wilderness are big ones, they are not big enough to stop me from never staying there again.\u00a0 If I was a family of 4 or more, I think this is a great hotel choice!<\/p>\n Have you ever stayed at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort before? \n-The room has a kitchen sink and full size fridge
\n-You can order food from local grocery stores, and have it delivered right to the cabin
\n-You can easily eat breakfast in the room before heading to the parks
\n– There’s a bedroom with locking door and a bathroom with locking door. (Two different people can have privacy at one time!)

DOWN SIDE:<\/h2>\n
\n-Only transportation to Magic Kingdom is by boat and does not hold as many Guests as the bus does.
\n-Once you get off at the transportation from the parks (bus stop or boat stop) you have to take another bus to get to your official stop within the resort.
\n-Not a great quick service location on site
