It is time to look ahead at what magic will be awaiting Guests visiting Walt Disney World in 2018.<\/p>\n

Disney\u2019s Hollywood Studios seems to be the big winner heading into 2018. \u00a0Toy Story Land<\/a> is opening in summer of 2018.\u00a0 In this new land, guests shrink to the size of a toy in Andy\u2019s world. \u00a0Two new attractions are\u00a0 part of this new land.<\/p>\n

Slinky Dog Dash is a family roller coaster attraction. \u00a0Here guests of all ages will love being sent around turns and drops that Andy himself created to make Slinky and his coils stretch as much as possible.<\/p>\n

The second ride to open in this land will be Alien Swirling Saucers. \u00a0Inspired by the first \u201cToy Story\u201d movie, this ride is based on toys from Pizza Planet. \u00a0Aliens will fly around and try to capture guests who are flying around in saucers trying to escape \u201cThe Claw\u201d. \u00a02018 is sure to be magical with this new land opening.<\/p>\n

It was just recently announced that Flights of Wonders finished in December with a new show to replace it in 2018. \u00a0This new show called\u00a0Adventurers Meet UP! A Great Bird Adventure includes the movie \u201cUp\u201d and features Dug and Russell.\u00a0 This show will also be featuring birds from around the world in the Caravan Theater in Anandapur Village.<\/p>\n\n

It was also announced that this summer would be known as the “Incredible Summer<\/a>” at Walt Disney World with lots of fun activities planned for those visiting during those months, including a Guardians of the Galaxy Party at Epcot at the America Gardens Theatre!<\/p>\n

Disney Springs continues to offer new dining experiences for guests. \u00a0After much wait, The Edison<\/a> offers American cuisine, bears and live entertainment. Enzo\u2019s Hideaway Tunnel Bar<\/a>, Maria and Enzo\u2019s Ristorante<\/a> and Pizza Ponte<\/a> have also opened at the beginning of this year.<\/p>\n

Guests will have even more restaurants to choose from in Disney Springs throughout 2018. Wine Bar George will open this spring and feature over 100 wine selections and shareable plates for guests to enjoy. Terralina Crafted Italian will also debut this spring.<\/p>\n

Jaleo a concept by Chef Jose Andres will bring the flavors of Spain to Disney Springs. \u00a0A new Wolfgang Puck concept will be opening in Town Center capturing the laid back feel of California dining. \u00a0All of these new experiences will be opening throughout the 2018 year in Disney Springs.<\/p>\n

\"2018<\/p>\n

Caribbean Beach Resort 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n

Disney\u2019s Coronado Springs Resort<\/a> and Disney\u2019s Caribbean Beach Resort <\/a>will continue to see updated resort areas throughout the 2018 year. \u00a0Coronado Springs Resort will be working on a 15-story lakeside tower that will include both suites and concierge-level services for guests. \u00a0Other guest rooms throughout the resort will see refurbishments as well as changes to the landscape throughout the resort grounds.<\/p>\n

At Disney\u2019s Caribbean Beach Resort, guests will see a new waterside dining and marketplace.\u00a0 Coronado Springs and Caribbean Beach will not be completed with the refurbishment until 2019; however, some changes will be able to be seen by guests throughout 2018.<\/p>\n

The other resort going through some major changes is Pop Century<\/a>.\u00a0 Starting in 2017, Pop Century refurbishment included updating rooms with new, updated accommodations.\u00a0 All rooms will be updated in 2018..<\/p>\n

ESPN World of Sports<\/a> has also opened a new sports and entertainment venue. \u00a0This 8,000 seat facility will host six regulation basketball courts, six regulation volleyball courts or concert areas. \u00a0Both cheer and dance events will be able to performance and practice here. \u00a0This new facility will be a great area for those heading to Disney for sporting events.<\/p>\n
