<\/a><\/p>\nTo me, one of Disney\u2019s hidden gems is the House of Blues, located in Downtown Disney\u2019s West Side, under the water tower.\u00a0 In keeping with tradition, the House of Blues Orlando displays the “Crazy Quilt” and keeps a metal box of mud from the Delta Mississippi underneath its stage.<\/p>\n
I usually don\u2019t have trouble getting seating there, although I haven\u2019t tried during prime dinner times.\u00a0\u00a0 Even if you have to wait for a table, there\u2019s a comfortable seating area outside as well as a bar to quench your thirst while you wait.\u00a0 This is a great location for a meal prior to going to Cirque du Soleil, which is located right next door.\u00a0 I\u2019ve had an early dinner here before the early show at Cirque du Soleil and found only a few people in the restaurant.<\/p>\n Both lunch and dinner is served at this location.\u00a0 The menu is mostly Cajun type food, with a little kick to it, although there are menu items for those that don\u2019t like the heat.\u00a0 You\u2019ll find the usual burgers along with Cajun shrimp, jambalaya, gumbo, shrimp po-boy, ribs, meatloaf and steak.\u00a0 My favorite is the catfish nuggets, which are bite-sized and served with their special sauce that is just a little spicy.\u00a0 I also love their sweet potato fries, which come in a serving large enough to share.\u00a0 My husband craves their jambalaya so we have to go there every few months so he can get his fix on that spicy dish.\u00a0 They do offer entertainment on certain dates, both on the porch and in the \u201ckitchen\u201d (located adjacent to the restaurant).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
