The attraction, subtitled “Mike and Sulley to the Rescue,” takes you on a classic dark ride journey through scenes from the hit 2011 Pixar movie<\/a>. Before you ride, the queue entertains you with some interesting tidbits\u00a0that keep your attention and refer back to the movie and Monster universe.<\/p>\n

No visit to Monstropolis would be complete without a gourmet meal at Harryhausen’s. In the movie, the restaurant’s name pays homage to\u00a0stop-motion animator Ray Harryhausen.<\/em><\/p>\n

Sulley’s nemesis Randall finally wins his Scarer of the Month award? In Monsters Inc., Sulley has taken the prize\u00a0every month, and Randall desperately wants\u00a0to defeat him. Did Randall finally succeed, or is this his wishful thinking?<\/em><\/p>\n

The CDA (Child Detection Agency) newsreel warns us that a human child is on the loose, introducing us into the storyline on the day Boo enters the monster world.<\/em><\/p>\n

The most honest vending machine, selling us “Sugar, Salt, &\u00a0Fat” and “Bag O Calories.” Or if you don’t like\u00a0Drooler Cooler, you can get Primordial Ooze or Blort to drink.<\/em><\/p>\n

Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue\u00a0rarely has more than a 15-20 minute wait. Most of the queue is inside, and all of it is shaded. The monorail passes almost right overhead every few minutes too. It makes for a great afternoon activity when lines get long<\/a> elsewhere.<\/p>\n

BONUS SUPER-SECRET LINE HACK:<\/strong> If you’ve already seen the fabulous Monsters, Inc. line detailed above, or you’re just that<\/em> short on time, try\u00a0a Buddy Pass. This works if you have a party of two, or are willing to split up into groups of two. Ask a Cast Member out front of the ride for one (nicely) and enter through the ride exit. You will fill the third row of ride vehicles with smaller parties. Kind of a “Double Rider Line.”<\/p>\n
