\u00a0I always look for ways to get a dose of Disney and I thought this might be perfect for that. \u00a0I finally took the plunge and took my two year old son and we were\u00a0not disappointed!<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Know Before You Go<\/h4>\n<p>If you&#8217;re reading this blog then I&#8217;m guessing you&#8217;re the kind of person who likes to plan ahead. \u00a0So here are some things you should know before buying tickets and getting to the venue!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Disney on Ice produces several different shows. \u00a0Currently there are five different shows listed on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.disneyonice.com\/shows\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>. \u00a0Before you buy tickets, make sure the show you&#8217;re considering fits your party&#8217;s interests. \u00a0For example, I have a two year old boy who really isn&#8217;t interested in princesses, so\u00a0I wanted to make sure our show\u00a0wasn&#8217;t too princess-heavy. \u00a0You can read about each show by clicking on the title on the Disney on Ice website.<\/li>\n<li>Everyone in your party aged 2 or older will need a ticket to the event. \u00a0Children younger than 2 can attend for free as long as they sit on your lap.<\/li>\n<li>The shows\u00a0last about 2 hours in total (including a 15-20 minute intermission).<\/li>\n<li>There are occasionally discounts on tickets for Walt Disney World annual passholders. \u00a0The last time this was offered was in the winter of 2015, but always check to be sure! \u00a0You can check on your Annual Passholder home page or the most recent <em>Mickey Monitor<\/em> to see if a discount is offered.<\/li>\n<li>Consider bringing a jacket. \u00a0The show we attended was held in a very large basketball stadium so we didn&#8217;t necessarily need them. \u00a0But if your show is in a smaller venue (or if you&#8217;re close to the ice) you may need it!<\/li>\n<li>Most tickets are\u00a0<em>very<\/em> reasonably priced &#8211; but make sure to bring some extra cash for all the souvenirs your kids will beg you to buy! \u00a0The light-up, spinning Olaf toy I bought for my son cost nearly as much as both of our tickets combined!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-52998\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Souvenirs-400x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Souvenirs-400x400.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Souvenirs-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Souvenirs.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Passport to Adventure<\/h3>\n<p>The show we attended was Passport to Adventure. \u00a0The general premise is that Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy are traveling around the world to find adventure! \u00a0In the process, they make their way through four different Disney movies. \u00a0In each location, they meet characters from those movies who go through several iconic songs with plenty of fun ice skating tricks thrown in!<\/p>\n<p>The show opened with an &#8220;it&#8217;s a small world&#8221; segment. \u00a0The performers were dressed in costumes that resembled the dolls from the attraction and they skated to the iconic song!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-52997\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Small-World-400x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Small-World-400x400.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Small-World-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Small-World.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>The Lion King<\/h4>\n<p>After the &#8220;it&#8217;s a small world&#8221; segment concluded, Mickey and friends came out and told us our first destination &#8211; Africa! \u00a0In Africa we met Pumbaa, Timon, Simba and Nala and they performed a few songs for us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-52993\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Lion-King-400x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Lion-King-400x400.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Lion-King-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Lion-King.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Peter Pan<\/h4>\n<p>Mickey and friends came out again after the Lion King segment to let us know that our next destination was London! \u00a0We visited the Darling family at their home then travelled to Neverland with Wendy, John, Michael and Peter Pan. \u00a0In Neverland we met the Lost Boys and even had a showdown with Captain Hook himself! \u00a0The pirates in this section were probably my son&#8217;s favorite part of the entire show.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-52996\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Peter-Pan-400x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Peter-Pan-400x400.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Peter-Pan-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Peter-Pan.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">The Little Mermaid<\/h4>\n<p>After we defeated Captain Hook, we had a 15-20 minute intermission. \u00a0When we came back Goofy told us he really wanted to visit the beach, so off we went! \u00a0At the beach we met Ariel and all her friends &#8211; we even got to meet Prince Eric!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-52995\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Little-Mermaid-fish-400x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Little-Mermaid-fish-400x400.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Little-Mermaid-fish-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Little-Mermaid-fish.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Frozen<\/h4>\n<p>Mickey and friends got a little hot while visiting the beach, so to cool off we travelled to Arendale! \u00a0Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf and Hans performed several songs for us during our visit. \u00a0My son and I were a little disappointed that neither Sven nor the trolls made an appearance, but this part was definitely a fan favorite!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-52986\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Anna-and-Elsa-400x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Anna-and-Elsa-400x400.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Anna-and-Elsa-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Anna-and-Elsa.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-52992\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Frozen-400x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Frozen-400x400.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Frozen-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Frozen.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Finale<\/h4>\n<p>At the very end of the show all of the main characters from each scene came out at once! \u00a0This was a great way to end the show since all the kids got to see their favorite characters one more time. \u00a0There were some pyrotechnics during the finale (that shot down from the ceiling). \u00a0My son\u00a0<em>loved<\/em> them, but if your child is a little skittish you may want to be prepared.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-52991\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Finale-400x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Finale-400x400.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Finale-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Disney-on-Ice-Finale.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">After attending one Disney on Ice production, I would absolutely go back!
