If you\u2019re sailing on the Disney Dream<\/a> and would like to have a relaxing breakfast that is fit for a Princess (or Prince!), the Royal Palace Restaurant<\/a> is a great place to dine!<\/p>\n

The atmosphere of the restaurant focuses upon the Disney Princesses.\u00a0 The entryway is an impressive one with the lighting and colors, and it\u2019s worth a walk around the restaurant to see the artwork.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite details is this section of the floor.<\/p>\n

We were seated immediately upon arrival, and the first thing we noticed about our table was the Cinderella bread basket!\u00a0 They don\u2019t use these for breakfast, but isn\u2019t it adorable!?<\/p>\n

Beverages and Starters<\/strong><\/p>\n

We were offered coffee, tea, juice, and sodas when we were seated.\u00a0 I was thrilled that cranberry juice was an option.\u00a0 My daughter and I both opted for tea, and within minutes a server approached us with a large wood box of a Twinings tea assortment.<\/p>\n

Next, we were asked if we\u2019d like to start our meal with pastries or fruit.\u00a0 I had a bowl of fruit, and my daughter asked if she could have a croissant. \u00a0\u00a0I don\u2019t know what it is about fruit on the Disney Dream, but every time I had fruit onboard it seemed extraordinarily fresh!<\/p>\n

Breakfast Entrees<\/strong><\/p>\n

I ordered the Stacked French Toast and Grilled Pineapple Stack entr\u00e9e.\u00a0 This consisted of layers of French toast and grilled pineapple topped with strawberry coulis and a maple glaze.\u00a0 It came with a fruit salad, and along with my fruit starter that was a lot of fruit for one meal but it was all good!<\/p>\n

\"Royal<\/p>\n

My daughter ordered the Disney Cruise Line Breakfast Trio.\u00a0 This consisted of French toast, a Belgian waffle, and a buttermilk pancake served with cinnamon butter and syrup.\u00a0 Much to her delight, this breakfast came with a side of bacon. The Disney Cruise Line was not skimpy with the bacon portion!\u00a0 Our only disappointment, which was a small detail, is that it would have been nice if the waffle were Mickey, Princess, or Disney Cruise Line related instead of a square waffle.\u00a0 A special waffle shape would have been a classic touch for a Disney breakfast, but she said it all tasted good and that\u2019s what counts the most.<\/p>\n

\"Royal<\/p>\n

Eating breakfast in one of the rotational dining restaurants is similar to having dinner with the Disney Cruise Line.\u00a0 If you\u2019d like extra bacon or would like to substitute one of the items on your plate for something different, they will do their best to accommodate you.\u00a0 The meal is included with the price of your cruise so you can ask for extras or mix and match some of the menu items.<\/p>\n

The Royal Palace Restaurant was a nice and relaxing way to begin our day on the Disney Dream.<\/p>\n
