Our family has several Disney traditions. \u00a0One of our favorites during each Disney vacation is picking out an ornament for our holiday tree that represents our trip.\u00a0 There are lots of great places to shop for holiday d\u00e9cor around Walt Disney World, but none compare to Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe.<\/p>\n

Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe is located in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom.\u00a0 The theming of Liberty Square is so meticulous, that you may pass by and not even notice the shop.\u00a0 The red brick building is located behind Liberty Tree Tavern, adjacent to the Liberty Bell.<\/p>\n

The selection of ornaments and holiday d\u00e9cor is endless.\u00a0 You will find something for everyone on your souvenir list.\u00a0 There are several rooms located within the shop and each is loaded with decorations to suit any taste and any budget.\u00a0 Disney does a great job with ornament creation.\u00a0 There are endless amounts to choose from.\u00a0 What makes them unique is that they are not only Disney themed, but have a personal touch as well.\u00a0 For example, if your child loves baseball and Mickey Mouse, you won\u2019t have a hard time finding a Mickey baseball ornament.<\/p>\n

If you are looking for an even higher level of personalization, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe will not disappoint.\u00a0 There are artists on sight who can help you select an ornament and personalize it with whatever your heart desires.\u00a0 Last year, I completed my first half marathon and was lucky enough to be able to accomplish it during the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.\u00a0 I knew that I wanted something more than a t-shirt or pin to celebrate my experience.\u00a0 I headed over to Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe and, with the help of one of their highly skilled artists, was able to select an ornament and customization that not only commemorated my achievement, but fit my personality to a tee.\u00a0 (A girl can never have too much sparkly purple, right?)\u00a0 At the time of purchase, my ornament cost $18.95 plus $6.00 for customization.\u00a0

Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe has many more things to offer outside of ornaments.\u00a0 You can also find tree skirts, tree toppers, decorative holiday pillows, home goods, and more.\u00a0 Their selection of holiday stockings is also plentiful.<\/p>\n

Ornaments and d\u00e9cor are often times fragile.\u00a0 Be sure to take advantage of either package pick up if you are a day guest or are staying off property, or resort delivery services if you are staying on property<\/a>.\u00a0 The shop can also ship directly to your home as well.\u00a0 Customization took several hours, so if you are a day guest or are on the last day of your vacation, be sure to head to the shop as early as possible.\u00a0 The wait times for customization get longer as the day goes on.<\/p>\n
