Coffee…it’s what gets me going in the morning. It’s a treat in the middle of the afternoon. I love coffee.<\/p>\n

While you’re onboard the Disney ships, yes there is free coffee available at the drink stations, however, sometimes when I’m cruising, I really want a latte. That’s where the Cove Cafe comes into play.<\/p>\n

The Cove Cafe on the Dream is located in the adults only section of the ship. It is a relaxing indoor\/outdoor coffee shop that offers up hand-crafted drinks, as well as pastries. You can also add spirits to your beverage, read a book, or watch TV.<\/p>\n

The colors are reminiscent of coffee…with lots of browns and creams.\u00a0 The cafe is really is the perfect refuge. Matter of fact, while you’re in here, you almost forget you are on the ship! It’s just cozy and comfy. (The only thing that let’s you know you’re on a ship is that you see the adult pool out the window.)<\/p>\n

The drinks here are what you would expect, but delicious. While the coffee options aren’t super varied, they do offer both hot or iced choices. If you aren’t in the mood for coffee, they also offer quite a few tea options.<\/p>\n

The one thing to keep in mind about the Cove Cafe is that if you order a beverage, it does carry a fee. The other thing to keep in mind is that drinks are one size, no small, no grande – one size fits all. And that one size is relatively small. If you are a heavy latte drinker, this can get expensive quickly.<\/p>\n

One way though that Disney helps with this is by offering the rewards card. If, on your cruise, you purchase five drinks, you’ll get the sixth one for free. That’s a nice perk that makes things a bit more manageable.<\/p>\n

I had never thought about visiting the Cove Cafe until this trip and I have to tell you, I’m now sold. Yes, you do have other coffee options (and it’s now Joffrey’s Coffee that’s offered on the ship, not Nescafe), there’s just something so wonderful about having that freshly made espresso drink that makes me happy. I certainly won’t hesitate on my next cruise to make Cove Cafe a must do.<\/p>\n
