\u00a0 The face characters speak and they are in the majority at Epcot. Either way, do not thrust your child at the character. Allow the little one to deal with them from a distance, and in the case of a face character, let your child set the pace for the interaction. Characters are well trained and will not rush through the meet and greet.<\/p>\n Disney sells autograph books throughout all the parks, but consider making your own book before leaving. There are tons of Disney character stickers out there and it is a nice activity that will get your children excited. Another great thing to do is to buy a book that has a collection of Disney stories and have the characters sign on \u2018their\u2019 page. These books are readily available at major bookstores and stores such as Walmart. One of my favorites is \u201cWhat Makes Me a Princess?<\/em>\u201d a recordable storybook by Hallmark.<\/p>\n Mickey<\/strong>,\u00a0Minnie<\/strong>, and\u00a0Goofy<\/strong>\u00a0are a fixture at the Character Spot and you can regularly meet Pluto<\/strong> and\u00a0Chip \u2018n\u2019 Dale<\/strong>\u00a0at Epcot but in this blog we want to concentrate on the characters around World Showcase. For this purpose make sure you pick up the\u00a0Times Guide<\/em>\u00a0which is the \u201cWho, When and Where\u201d of the character meet and greets.<\/p>\n Starting in Mexico meet\u00a0Donald Duck<\/strong>\u00a0on the right-hand side of the pre-Columbian pyramid.\u00a0 While you are there see if you can catch a performance of\u00a0Mariachi Cobre<\/strong>, a fabulous 12-piece Mexican band.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The China Pavilion is home to\u00a0Mulan<\/strong>, who holds court at the entrance to the pavilion most of the time, or inside the Temple of Heaven during inclement weather. On rare occasions her faithful friend\u00a0Mushu<\/strong>\u00a0joins her.<\/p>\n Snow White<\/strong>\u00a0signs autographs at the well just as your reach the German pavilion. It is a real nice photo op and one can easily imagine the scene from the movie where Snow White is singing,\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m wishing.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n At the Morocco pavilion\u00a0Jasmine<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Aladdin<\/strong>\u00a0meet at the bazaar. At times Disney throws the\u00a0Genie<\/strong>\u00a0or even\u00a0Abu<\/strong>\u00a0into the mix. The Morocco pavilion is underrated and little visited. Wander inside and admire this amazing pavilion with lofty minarets, winding streets, and stuccoed archways. Don\u2019t miss the new entertainment featuring\u00a0B\u2019net Al Houwariyate\u00a0<\/strong>a music and dance group taking guests on a journey of Moroccan folk music. Performances are on select days, check the entertainment schedule\u00a0Times Guide<\/em>.<\/p>\n France is home to\u00a0Belle<\/strong>\u00a0and at times the\u00a0Beast<\/strong>. They meet opposite\u00a0Les Chefs the France\u00a0<\/em>restaurant at World Showcase Lagoon. Kids will also enjoy the performance of\u00a0Serveur Amusant<\/strong>, a balancing act of waiters performed on select days in front of\u00a0Les Chefs de France<\/em>\u00a0restaurant.<\/p>\n Princess\u00a0Aurora<\/strong>\u00a0also meets in France. Look for her at the gazebo at the far right of the France pavilion. The gazebo is surrounded by lovely gardens and is a nice setting for getting to know the Sleeping Beauty.<\/p>\n The United Kingdom pavilion is home to quite an array of Disney characters. The practically perfect in every way\u00a0Mary Poppins<\/strong>\u00a0meets guests \u2013 at times with\u00a0Bert<\/strong>\u00a0as you reach the United Kingdom Pavilion.<\/p>\n Alice<\/strong>\u00a0can be found outside the little cottage at the United Kingdom pavilion. She is at times joined or replaced by the\u00a0White Rabbit<\/strong>.
