I wish you a prosperous and wonderful year.<\/p>\n<p>Disney delivered this year with a bunch of fantastic and delicious treats this year, as they always do for guests to enjoy and delight in.\u00a0 A lot of this year&#8217;s dining options seemed to improve on older ideas, creating and mashing up unique opportunities to entice guests.\u00a0 So, let&#8217;s find out what the some of the best things Disney offered guests to sample in 2014.\u00a0 If you have a trip in 2015, here\u2019s a list of things you should really consider trying, if you already haven\u2019t, while you\u2019re visiting the <a title=\"Walt Disney World\" href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/\">Walt Disney World<\/a> Resort.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/2015\/01\/foodie-friday-best-walt-disney-world-food-2014\/cronut\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-36182\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-36182\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Cronut-300x400.jpg\" alt=\"Cronut\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Cronut-300x400.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Cronut.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Croissant Doughnut:\u00a0 Ok, I know, I&#8217;m already cheating.\u00a0 This one was actually introduced in 2013, but it was done at the end of the year, so I&#8217;m making it count for 2014. This warm, doughy, flakey, buttery, cinnamon and sugar-covered delight was fantastic! Better yet, they added the option of letting guests choose to get it a la mode, taking an already great treat and making it better. Want to pick one up, head to the Refreshment Port at Epcot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/2015\/01\/foodie-friday-best-walt-disney-world-food-2014\/spice-road-table-3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-36178\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-36178\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Spice-Road-Table-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"Spice Road Table\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Spice-Road-Table-400x300.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Spice-Road-Table.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spice Road Table:\u00a0 It was a solid effort for Epcot&#8217;s World Showcase.\u00a0 Disney introduced this Moroccan tapas restaurant at the beginning of 2014.\u00a0 Dishes include small plates that feature things calamari, mussels, lamb sausage, hummus and olives, and more.\u00a0 While the restaurant hasn&#8217;t exactly gone over all that well, Disney is attempting to change that by recently adding full sized entrees to the menu, accepting the Disney Dining Plan, and being able to make Advanced Dining Reservations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/2015\/01\/foodie-friday-best-walt-disney-world-food-2014\/waffle-fries\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-36184\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-36184\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Waffle-Fries-400x335.jpg\" alt=\"Waffle Fries\" width=\"400\" height=\"335\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Waffle-Fries-400x335.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Waffle-Fries.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Waffle Fries:\u00a0 Over at the Golden Oak Outpost at the Magic Kingdom is a kiosk window that has gone through some menu changes.\u00a0 First they sold McDonald&#8217;s fries, then it was chicken sandwiches, then corn nuggets, and really nothing stuck.\u00a0 This year though, the snack shop started selling Deluxe Waffle Fries.\u00a0 There are four different kinds, Brown Gravy and Cheese Waffle Fries, Barbecue Pork Waffle Fries, Tex-Mex Waffle Fries, and BLT Waffle Fries.\u00a0 Holy cow are these good.\u00a0 My only two wishes&#8230;that the window was open more often and that there were more fries. (These are that good.\u00a0 But you&#8217;ll just have to wait for a future blog post for a more in-depth review.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/2015\/01\/foodie-friday-best-walt-disney-world-food-2014\/sweet-potato-nuggets\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-36180\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-36180\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Sweet-Potato-Nuggets-400x335.jpg\" alt=\"Sweet Potato Nuggets\" width=\"400\" height=\"335\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Sweet-Potato-Nuggets-400x335.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Sweet-Potato-Nuggets.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sweet Potato Nuggets:\u00a0 Also added at the Golden Oak Outpost were these delightful treats. They are small puffs of sweet potato covered in powdered sugar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/2015\/01\/foodie-friday-best-walt-disney-world-food-2014\/star-wars-dining\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-36179\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-36179\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Star-Wars-Dining-300x400.jpg\" alt=\"Star Wars Dining\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Star-Wars-Dining-300x400.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Star-Wars-Dining.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Star Wars Dining:\u00a0 This is one of the things that I wonder why it took them so long to do.\u00a0 It just seemed like a no-brainer.\u00a0 This year, during Star Wars Weekends, Disney&#8217;s Hollywood Studios added two new character meals featuring the Star Wars characters at Sci-Fi Dine In for breakfast and Disney characters dressed as Star Wars characters at Hollywood and Vine for dinner.\u00a0 These were both extremely popular meals and great opportunities to meet your favorites while getting a meal too!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/2015\/01\/foodie-friday-best-walt-disney-world-food-2014\/mickey-pants-sundae\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-36177\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-36177\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Mickey-Pants-Sundae-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"Mickey Pants Sundae\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Mickey-Pants-Sundae-400x300.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Mickey-Pants-Sundae.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mickey Pants Ice Cream:\u00a0 This sharable ice cream bowl is so adorable!\u00a0 It&#8217;s available at both Beaches and Cream at Disney&#8217;s Beach Club Resort and The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street USA.\u00a0 The only disadvantage of the cute bowl is that it&#8217;s a big mess when you&#8217;re finished with the ice cream.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve seen many people attempting to wash it out in bathrooms nearby so they can take it home.\u00a0 But what a cool and unique souvenir. (Plus, eating the ice cream is a pretty good perk too.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/2015\/01\/foodie-friday-best-walt-disney-world-food-2014\/the-smokehouse\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-36181\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-36181\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/The-Smokehouse-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"The Smokehouse\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/The-Smokehouse-400x300.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/The-Smokehouse.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Smokehouse:\u00a0 This barbeque window opened in Downtown Disney&#8217;s West Side as part of House of Blues with some pretty darn good barbeque.\u00a0 There&#8217;s a pulled pork sandwich, St. Louis style ribs, smokehouse nachos, and turkey legs.\u00a0 There&#8217;s no indoor seating, only outdoors, but if you&#8217;re in the mood for some barbeque, this is a good place to grab it!<\/li>\n<li>Artisan Mac and Cheese:\u00a0 I mentioned previously that this was the year of taking something old and making it new again.\u00a0 Guests can enjoy Bacon Cheeseburger Mac and Cheese, Pot Roast Mac and Cheese, Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese, and Barbecued Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese.\u00a0 There are two different stops where guests can pick up this snack.\u00a0 One is at The Friar&#8217;s Nook at the Magic Kingdom and the other is at Min and Bill&#8217;s Dockside Diner at Disney&#8217;s Hollywood Studios.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/2015\/01\/foodie-friday-best-walt-disney-world-food-2014\/ice-cream-macaroons\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-36183\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-36183\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Ice-Cream-Macaroons-281x400.jpg\" alt=\"Ice Cream Macaroons\" width=\"281\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Ice-Cream-Macaroons-281x400.jpg 281w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Ice-Cream-Macaroons.jpg 422w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 281px) 100vw, 281px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Macaroon Ice Cream Sandwiches:\u00a0 L&#8217;Artisan des Glaces creates a lot of unique ice cream flavors.\u00a0 This year they came up with peppermint, caramelized apple and cinnamon, and pumpkin.\u00a0 But they also created the ice cream macaroon sandwich.
