One week until the official start of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival! Of course, the big draw for the festival is, well, the food options, so today, I thought I would take a look at some of the standouts that will be returning this year.<\/p>\n<p>This year, I feel as though a lot of my favorite options have been changed up, making them different from past years, but, there are, of course, some incredible favorites returning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-34652 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Pavlova.jpg\" alt=\"Pavlova\" width=\"544\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Pavlova.jpg 544w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Pavlova-362x400.jpg 362w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 544px) 100vw, 544px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pavlova (Australia Marketplace):\u00a0 This is a delightful treat! It is a crispy meringue shell with fresh berries and vanilla custard. It was actually a sleeper hit for me last year, as I wasn&#8217;t expecting to try it, saw it listed on the menu and decided in the moment that I wanted to sample it. The shell was delightfully crisp and sweet and the custard mixed with fruit was perfect. I really liked this sweet because it was extremely light, which can be handy when walking around World Showcase, in the afternoon, with the Florida sun beating down on you.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cLe Cellier\u201d wild mushroom beef filet mignon with truffle butter sauce (Canada Marketplace):\u00a0 This one is just like what you&#8217;d find in the restaurant, but mini! The filet is usually cooked a little more than I prefer, but add the truffle butter sauce and everything is a-ok! (mmm&#8230;truffle butter&#8230;.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-34647 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Pork-Slider.jpg\" alt=\"Pork Slider\" width=\"550\" height=\"585\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Pork-Slider.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Pork-Slider-376x400.jpg 376w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kalua pork slider with sweet and sour Dole\u00ae Pineapple chutney and spicy mayonnaise (Hawaii Marketplace): I have been in love with this slider since it was first introduced. The pork has great flavor, the pineapple chutney is sweet and a good foil for the mayo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-34648 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Fishermans-Pie.jpg\" alt=\"Fisherman's Pie\" width=\"550\" height=\"581\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Fishermans-Pie.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Fishermans-Pie-378x400.jpg 378w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fisherman&#8217;s Pie (Ireland Marketplace):\u00a0 One of the options that rates as one of my all time favorites that is returning. I mean how can you go wrong? Lobster and other delicious seafood treats in a delightful lobster bisque mixed with mashed potatoes and cheese&#8230;hello!<\/li>\n<li>Boeuf bourguignon: Braised short ribs in cabernet with mashed potatoes (France Marketplace):\u00a0 This was another sleeper for me and it has rapidly become one of my favorites of the whole entire Food and Wine Festival.\u00a0 Matter of fact, I&#8217;ve even tried making it at home, though, it was not nearly as good as it is at Epcot. The short ribs are tender and the mashed potatoes are perfect in the cabernet sauce. This is one of those where I may have to get it a couple of times while I&#8217;m down there.\u00a0 That&#8217;s how good it is.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-34650 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Baklava.jpg\" alt=\"Baklava\" width=\"550\" height=\"575\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Baklava.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Baklava-382x400.jpg 382w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Baklava (Morocco Marketplace): You must know&#8230;I am a sucker for baklava. It is the sweet taste of honey mixed with chopped nuts that just really makes me happy.\u00a0 Get it and I think it will make you happy too.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-34651 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Beef-Slider.jpg\" alt=\"Beef Slider\" width=\"550\" height=\"487\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Beef-Slider.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Beef-Slider-400x354.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Beef Slider (Hops and Barley Marketplace):\u00a0 I am not a burger person, so I didn&#8217;t originally gravitate to this option&#8230;instead it was my husband, the burger connoisseur who decided to try it.\u00a0 But I decided to taste it and holy cow!
