So, I thought I&#8217;d take a look at some of the places where if you&#8217;ve got a hankering for fruit, you can pick up something delicious on your next vacation.\u00a0 (It can&#8217;t always be chocolate on top of chocolate&#8230;or so my doctor says.)<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll fully admit, some (ok, probably most) won&#8217;t actually be all that healthy.\u00a0 But if you&#8217;re looking for something with a bit of a fruity flavor to it to nosh on, look no further than this article! Let&#8217;s dig in!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I mean, I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s any doubt that the first mention of this list would be the Dole Whip.\u00a0 The perfect blend of pineapple goodness.\u00a0 It&#8217;s cold, it&#8217;s fruity, it&#8217;s tart, it&#8217;s sweet.\u00a0 It&#8217;s everything you could ever want in a fruit lovers treat.\u00a0 Choose the float option, for more yumminess, as it&#8217;s Dole Whip mixed with pineapple juice.\u00a0 You can also choose to pick up a pineapple spear here, but I mean&#8230;why?\u00a0 Dole Whips are where it&#8217;s at!\u00a0 If you want to pick up a Dole Whip, you&#8217;ll be able to do so at Aloha Isle at the Magic Kingdom.\u00a0 Captain Cook&#8217;s is going down for a refurb at the end of the month&#8230;but they say that Dole Whips should be coming back when it reopens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Aloha Isle Menu:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/aloha-isle-menu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/aloha-isle-menu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Speaking of frozen treats that you can pick up at the Magic Kingdom, my next offering is the Citrus Swirl.\u00a0 Many have delighted in the return of this beloved treat that can be found at Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland.\u00a0 It&#8217;s orange slush swirled with vanilla soft serve.\u00a0 It&#8217;s like a creamsicle. It&#8217;s a wonderful combination when paired together.\u00a0 You can&#8217;t get much better than this.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sunshine Tree Terrace Menu:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/sunshine-tree-terrace-menu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/sunshine-tree-terrace-menu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-32946 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Nutella-Waffle1-306x400.jpg\" alt=\"Nutella Waffle\" width=\"306\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Nutella-Waffle1-306x400.jpg 306w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Nutella-Waffle1.jpg 459w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 306px) 100vw, 306px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Staying in the Magic Kingdom, one of my absolute favorite treats that can double as an awesome meal (depending on the time of day) is the Nutella and Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich.\u00a0 It is just awesome.\u00a0 You start with the incredibleness that is Nutella and then combine it with bananas, blueberries, and strawberries.\u00a0 Holy wow!\u00a0 I&#8217;m getting hungry just thinking about it.\u00a0 Pick up this bad boy at Sleep Hollow Refreshments found in Liberty Square. (PS:\u00a0 they also serve up two other awesome waffle sandwiches-the Sweet and Spicy Chicken and the Ham, Prosciutto, and Swiss.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sleepy Hollow Refreshments Menu:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/sleepy-hollow-menu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/sleepy-hollow-menu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Are you actually in the mood for a slice of fruit?\u00a0 Look no further than the fruit stands that can be found throughout Walt Disney World.\u00a0 Of course the one that pops in my mind is the one on Sunset Blvd. at Disney&#8217;s Hollywood Studios&#8230;Anaheim Produce.\u00a0 They sell a ton of fresh fruits like apples, oranges, fruit cups, etc. They also sell a ton of other healthy items like energy bars and hummus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anaheim Produce Menu:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/anaheim-produce-menu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/anaheim-produce-menu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-32947 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Framboise-368x400.jpg\" alt=\"Framboise\" width=\"368\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Framboise-368x400.jpg 368w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Framboise.jpg 553w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 368px) 100vw, 368px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you&#8217;re in Epcot, you have two choices that popped right into my head.\u00a0 The first is the new France bakery &#8211; Boulangerie P\u00e2tisserie Les Halles.\u00a0 Here, they have a lot of treats with fruit included, but if you&#8217;re looking for something specific, look no further than the Parfait Aux Fruits. This dish is yogurt mousse with mixed berries, like strawberries and blueberries.\u00a0 Another really great treat is the Framboise- raspberry mousse cake.\u00a0 My friend tried this last year and loved it.\u00a0 Other fruity snacks include:the Macaron &#8211; with raspberry and lime cream, the Chaussons Aux Pommes &#8211; apple turnover or the Cannelle &#8211; a cinnamon &amp; orange roll. \u00a0Of course, if you choose any treat from here, you cannot go wrong.\u00a0 They are all pretty darn delicious.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Boulangerie Menu:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/boulangeriepatisserie-menu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/boulangeriepatisserie-menu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The other option that popped into my head was the Strawberry Shortcake that can be found in the Bakery section of Sunshine Seasons.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a layer cake filled with strawberries and creamy whipped cream. It&#8217;s a happy treat! Of course, they have things like blueberry muffins, apple danishes, banana nut loaf, key lime tarts, and well, much, much more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sunshine Seasons Menu: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/sunshine-season-menu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/sunshine-season-menu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Over at Disney&#8217;s Hollywood Studios, you may pass right by this next location, but you&#8217;d be missing out on a great hidden gem!\u00a0 Sure, Starring Rolls is famous for their cupcakes (hello Butterfinger cupcake with your massive icing pile), but they also have a great Fresh Fruit Tart that&#8217;s filled with strawberries, kiwis, raspberries, blueberries, etc.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a great taste of many different fruits!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-32943 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/apples-214x400.jpg\" alt=\"apples\" width=\"214\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/apples-214x400.jpg 214w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/apples.jpg 321w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 214px) 100vw, 214px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Many of the snack shops offer a delightful amount of fruit treats!\u00a0 First, we start with the caramel apples.\u00a0 I told you not everything on this list would be all that healthy and this is certainly proof of that!\u00a0 The caramel are beautiful works of art&#8230;some more coating than apple, it seems.\u00a0 But technically it&#8217;s got fruit!\u00a0 Anther option are the chocolate dipped fruit skewers.\u00a0 There&#8217;s the option to pick one with pineapple, or strawberries, or just fruit.\u00a0 Of course, if you don&#8217;t want them dipped in chocolate (but what fun is that?) there is the option to get them without being dipped.\u00a0 There are three places for sure where you can pick up these items.\u00a0 One is Main Street Confectionery in the Magic Kingdom.\u00a0 Also in the Magic Kingdom is Big Top Treats in Storybook Circus.\u00a0 The other is Sweet Spells at Disney&#8217;s Hollywood Studios.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Big Top Treats:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/big-top-treats-menu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/big-top-treats-menu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Main Street Confectionery: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/main-street-confectionery-menu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/menus\/main-street-confectionery-menu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-32944 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Frozen-Bananas-400x163.jpg\" alt=\"Frozen Bananas\" width=\"400\" height=\"163\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Frozen-Bananas-400x163.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Frozen-Bananas.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Another treat found in all the parks is the frozen banana.\u00a0 You can pick up this delightful treat at any of the carts that sell Mickey Bars.\u00a0 These are covered in chocolate and peanuts.\u00a0 They are of course, less caloric to eat than the Mickey Bar, and they are a pretty darn good treat.\u00a0 So easy to eat while on the go.\u00a0 Sometimes I have cravings for just these!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Well, that&#8217;s gonna do it for this installment of best places to find fruity treats.\u00a0 I know there are a TON more that I could have listed&#8230;and that&#8217;s where you come in.\u00a0 Leave a note for me in the comments and let me know your favorite fruity treat!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yay!!!\u00a0 It&#8217;s officially Spring!\u00a0 With Spring brings my love of eating more fresh veggies and fruits.
