Here&#8217;s a list of the activities so far:<\/p>\n<p>On all Disney Ships Halloween activities are set to include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Haunted Parties<\/strong> featuring Disney characters in Halloween costumes, costume parties, and candy! The adult entertainment district will also feature some ghoulish fun.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spooky Movies<\/strong> will be shown in Buena Vista theater, on Funnel Vision, and even in the staterooms.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ghoulish Delights<\/strong> have been created by Disney Chefs to tempt everyone&#8217;s taste buds. Items may include Witch&#8217;s Brew, spider cakes, and chocolate cake with pumpkin filling. Yum!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <em>Disney Dream<\/em> will have some exclusive activities for her guests, too.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"gmw_\">\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Mickey<\/strong><span class=\"gmw_\"><strong>&#8216;s Calling All The Monsters Mouse-Querade Deck Party&#8221;<\/strong><span class=\"gmw_\"> will feature lots of ondeck Halloween fun as a part of Pirate Night.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>A Nightmare Before Christmas<\/strong> &#8211; Sing and Scream interactive movie experience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Haunted Stories of the Sea\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"gmw_\">storytelling.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Creepy Cabaret<\/strong> will feature ghostly musicians and Villainous Takeover will happen throughout the adult areas of the ship.<\/li>\n<li>All of this plus pumpkin carving, villains making shipboard announcements, and mask making.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30313\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30313\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/DCLHolidays-640x424.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-30313\" alt=\"DCL Holiday Fun\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/DCLHolidays-640x424-300x198.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/DCLHolidays-640x424-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/DCLHolidays-640x424.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30313\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Copyright Disney<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>If you are traveling later in the year, the Disney Cruise Line ships will be \u201cdecked\u201d in their holiday finest. There will be Thanksgiving meals, Christmas feasts, New Year\u2019s celebrations, and even snow. Thankfully, you won\u2019t have to shovel this magical snow!<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"gmw_\"><strong>Very Merrytime Cruises<\/strong> begin November 9 on the <\/span><i>Disney Fantasy<\/i> and <i>Disney Wonder<\/i>, and November 10 on the <i>Disney Magic<\/i> and <i>Disney Dream<\/i>. Some of the activities that will be happening through the New Year will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>King Triton\u2019s Tree Lighting Ceremony<\/strong> in the ship atrium on the first night of the cruise.<\/li>\n<li>Family holiday activities such as gingerbread house construction and meet-and-greets with Santa and the elves.<\/li>\n<li>Youth holiday crafts such as card and holiday animation cell creation, and stocking decoration.<\/li>\n<li>Holiday storytellers sharing stories of Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cDeck the Deck Holiday Party\u201d<\/strong> celebrating the holidays with a tropical flare.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cTil We Meet Again\u201d<\/strong> holiday edition on the final night of the cruise featuring characters and crew spreading holiday cheer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Guests sailing on Thanksgiving Day will enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal, characters in traditional attire, and a turkey towel animal to end the night. And don\u2019t worry \u2013 NFL football will be broadcast on the Funnel Vision near the family pool.<\/p>\n<p>As if waking up on a Disney ship Christmas morning isn\u2019t magical enough, Santa will have surprises for the younger passengers in the atrium, and the crew will treat guests to caroling. Of course Christmas dinner will be a delicious traditional presentation in the dining rooms.<\/p>\n<p>Religious services will be observed with a midnight mass on Christmas Eve and a service on Christmas Day. Hanukkah services will be held each day from November 28-December 5 as well.<\/p>\n<p>If you are planning a voyage during this time, special mini Christmas trees are available for pre-purchase and will be delivered to your stateroom. There will be plenty of holiday items available for purchase during your voyage as well.<\/p>\n<p>To cap off this season of celebration, a balloon drop and sparkling wine toast in commemorative flutes will help cruisers ring in the 2014 in style.<\/p>\n<p>Wow! If you didn\u2019t want to sail aboard Disney Cruise Line before, these special events might make you want to give it a try.
