sounds like it&#8217;s right out of a sci-fi movie, doesn&#8217;t it?\u00a0 Like <em>Godzilla Versus the Sea Monster?<\/em>\u00a0 Well, this won&#8217;t be a sci-fi mini-series, but I will be doing some comparisons.<\/p>\n<p>Someone suggested that I should do a post or maybe series of posts about what Walt Disney World does better than Disneyland and vice versa.\u00a0 After reading the first few lines of the email, I was nodding in agreement.\u00a0 Yes, Walt Disney World does this better, and Disneyland does that better.\u00a0 Okay.\u00a0 I agreed so far.\u00a0 When I got to the bottom, I stopped.\u00a0 Shook my head&#8230;\u00a0 Read again&#8230;\u00a0 Really?<\/p>\n<p>This made me think a little bit before realizing that this could be a fun series of posts.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 Is it because Walt Disney World definitely does a particular thing better than Disneyland, or is it Disneyland that does it better than Walt Disney World?\u00a0 Honestly, for the most part, I think it all comes down to each person&#8217;s opinion and what that person expects from his vacation.<\/p>\n<p>So, let&#8217;s start with transportation from the airport to the resort today.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-28761 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Disneys-Magical-Express-223x300.png\" alt=\"Disney's Magical Express\" width=\"223\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Disneys-Magical-Express-223x300.png 223w, https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Disneys-Magical-Express.png 373w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 223px) 100vw, 223px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Walt Disney World seems to have the upper hand in getting guests to the Walt Disney World Resort-owned hotels from Orlando International Airport.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/transportation\/magical-express\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Disney&#8217;s Magical Express<\/a> service provides complimentary transportation from the airport to the resort hotels.\u00a0 While there are other transportation options (town car, rental car, shuttle), my children will not allow me to even consider them.\u00a0 No, it is Disney&#8217;s Magical Express only.\u00a0 Why you might ask?\u00a0 It is because the kids see this bus ride as the official beginning of the vacation.\u00a0 Once the video starts playing, the vacation has started, and it is time to get in the Disney spirit.\u00a0 PLUS, I don&#8217;t have to deal with the luggage.\u00a0 I wave goodbye to the suitcases when we leave them at our departure airport, and they magically appear in my resort room.\u00a0 Mickey Mouse sure has some great helpers all over the country!<\/p>\n<p>Disneyland only has paid options to get to the Disneyland Resort hotels from the airports.\u00a0 No free rides here.\u00a0 The Disneyland Resort Express bus &#8220;operates continuously throughout the day, 7 days a week.&#8221;\u00a0 It is a service provided by Southern California Gray Line.\u00a0 Also, there are other shuttles, town cars, and rental cars available.\u00a0 I personally have never used the Disneyland Resort Express from either airport it serves.\u00a0 One time that we flew in, we rented a car, and we used a town car service the other time.\u00a0 We drove our personal car for most of our trips to Disneyland.<\/p>\n<p>So, it appears that Walt Disney World wins this round of the &#8220;competition&#8221;, or did it?\u00a0 It&#8217;s my opinion that Walt Disney World did win.\u00a0 What is your
