{"id":16905,"date":"2012-02-16T11:51:36","date_gmt":"2012-02-16T16:51:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/?p=16905"},"modified":"2022-05-04T21:10:24","modified_gmt":"2022-05-05T01:10:24","slug":"ride-deconstruction-sadness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/blog_world\/ride-deconstruction-sadness\/","title":{"rendered":"Ride deconstruction = sadness"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The deconstruction of a beloved piece of the Walt Disney World Resort is clearly not as magical as the construction.\u00a0 As photos of the Fantasyland expansion project have been popping up all over the internet, I have found myself captivated.\u00a0 When you see the pictures of beloved rides being taken down, however, it just seems wrong.<\/p>\n<p>I remember when the Sorcerer\u2019s hand and wand were perched on top of Spaceship Earth in Epcot.\u00a0 It was so beautiful and amazing to see and I took many pictures during my trip there at the time.\u00a0 When that all came down?\u00a0 It was just plain depressing.<\/p>\n<p>Now as the saying goes \u201cRome wasn\u2019t built in a day\u201d and I get it;
