I know that the 2014 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is still a LONG time away. At least, it seems like it! However, if you are thinking about attending the festival this year, it is time to start planning! The Mouse For Less has a page devoted to Food & Wine Festival planning, and as new information is released, we will be adding it there.
This year, there is going to be an extra week of Food & Wine Festival fun! The festival will start September 19, 2014 and end on November 10! If only I could go and stay for the full 53 days of great food, shows about food, and wine! In addition to the extra week, there are some new foods coming!
- Patagonia Marketplace – Argentina and Chile
- Farm Fresh Marketplace – replacing Florida Local Marketplace
- Plus, new menu items at multiple marketplaces
Have you attended Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival before? If not, you might want to read Rikki’s tips from last year’s Food & Wine Festival! She has some great tips for first time (and maybe no-so-first-time) guests! One of my favorite tips is not to plan to eat everything in one day. I don’t think I could even think of trying everything in one day! There are always so many great dishes to try! My personal tip is to not plan on a “sit down” meal the day I plan on going to the festival because I personally find more than enough to eat while walking around the world! I’d rather eat a little here and there rather than to eat one big meal. That way, I have a bigger chance of trying more of the things I would like to.
Rikki also wrote a post about a first timer’s experience at Epcot International Food & Wine Festival in which she shared her husband’s first experience at the Food & Wine Festival. If you are a first timer, you might want to check her post out!
If you are planning your trip, make sure to keep an eye on our festival page for updates as they come out!
