Disney Dream Part 3 – Category 10A Inside Stateroom

Disney Cruise Line – Disney Dream Category 10A, Deluxe Inside Stateroom

The Deluxe Inside Stateroom on the Disney Dream is one of the most spacious inside cabins in the cruising industry.  At 204 sq ft it is the same size as the Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom and accommodates the same number of passengers (3 or 4).  These cabins are located on Decks 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 and have an industry first – “Magical Porthole”.  The Magical Porthole provides Guests with a real-time view of the outside of the ship that reflects the actual stateroom’s location—port or starboard.

One of the favorites among Disney Cruise Line cruisers have been the split bath on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder.  On the Disney Dream the split bath is expanded to include the inside staterooms.  Enjoy the convenience of a split bath that allows for multiple people to use the facilities at the same time. The full bathroom includes a vanity, sink and tub/shower, while the half bath has a vanity, sink and toilet.

Did you notice that gadget on the desk?  That is the new Wave Phone that have been introduced by Disney Cruise Line to keep guests connected onboard.  The cell phone roaming charges on ships are outrageously expensive, and if you’ve ever tried using walkie talkies on cruise ships you’ll know that all the metal on the ship is not conducive to clear receptions.  With so much to do, no one wants to constantly check back at the cabin for notes left.  Disney solved the problem with Wave Phones.  Each cabin is equipped with two Wave Phones for you to use throughout the cruise.  You can rent more phones for a nominal charge per day.

The inside staterooms on the Disney Dream are equipped with Magical Portholes which shows real-time view of the outside of the ship.  Be on the lookout for enchanting surprises; you never know who or what might pop by! It could be a beloved Disney character or a pirate ship. And when it’s time for bed (or a nap), just turn off the Magical Porthole with a quick flip of the switch.
