There were a few things confirmed as part of today’s D23 Expo Parks Panel that relate back to the transformation of EPCOT.
The first, was that the statue of Walt Disney, called Walt the Dreamer, will officially be debuted in late 2023. This statue will be found in the World Celebration section of the park.

It was also shared that the attraction themed around the film, Moana called Journey of Water will also debut in late 2023.
This means that the entire transformation of EPCOT is also expected to be completed sometime in late 2023, as well.
With this transformation, it also means that a brand new nighttime spectacular will debut, replacing Harmonious. The new show will continue the park’s legacy of inspiring nighttime entertainment on World Showcase Lagoon. More details will be released soon.
Finally, in a move that, I think is going to excite most fans, Disney shared news that Guests will once again be able to meet Figment in the park! (That’s my squealing that you hear!)
