Big news for Guests who will be traveling to Walt Disney World who are wanting to experience TRON Lightcycle / Run. The attraction will be open for previews for all Guests from March 20-April 2, 2023. This will be a limited soft open before the attraction opens officially on April 4.
When TRON Lightcycle / Run is available during the soft open, Guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to enter the attraction using the Virtual Queue. A standby queue will not be available. Guest can enter the Virtual Queue no more than once per day during the soft open. Guests may also have the opportunity to ride the attraction by purchasing an individual Lightning Lane option.
During the soft open, there may be 2 opportunities to request to join the Virtual Queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run. The first will be at 7:00 AM. At this time, Guests do not need to be in the park to join the Virtual Queue but they must have a theme park reservation for the Magic Kingdom for that day. The second option will be at 1:00 PM. At this time, Guests must be in the Magic Kingdom to join the virtual queue at this time. Do keep in mind that access to this attraction is not guaranteed during the soft open.
