It’s said that the Disney Resorts are some of the best places to eat with dietary restrictions or other dietary concerns. So, if you are someone who enjoys a plant-based diet, I have exciting news for you. Both the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort will soon be serving plant-based dining options. As park Guests have started embracing plant-based offerings overall, it has inspired the resorts to expand menu offerings to include plant-based dishes.
Menu items will include hundreds of sweet and savory dishes. These options are made from plant-based ingredients like vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes – and are made without animal meat, dairy, eggs or honey.
In addition, a new plant-based menu icon will be coming to Disney dining establishments. This new new icon will be a green leaf, that will make it easier than ever to find these options when dining throughout the resorts.
These new plant based items will roll out at quick service locations on October 1 and October 3 at table service locations at the Walt Disney World Resort. There will be more than 400 incredible dishes available!
At the Disneyland Resort, the new menu icon and many new plant-based options will be introduced in spring 2020.
In addition, resorts across the globe will also get additional dishes, including Disneyland Paris, Shanghai Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line.
