New Exhibit Coming To EPCOT Called “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure”

The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure

Beginning in February, Guests who visit The American Adventure at EPCOT will have a brand new exhibit that they will be able to experience. This exhibit will be called “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure.” It will be a celebration of all things jazz music.

This new exhibit is based off the recent Pixar film, Soul. If you haven’t caught it, you can find it streaming on Disney+. (It’s wonderful, by the way. If you haven’t seen it yet, I suggest you do.)

This new exhibit will feature the lead character from the film, Joe Gardner. Joe will take us on a musical tour of America to learn about this inspiring genre of music. This new exhibit is going to celebrate the jazz music that can be found across the U.S., including New Orleans, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Juan.

Want to learn more about this exhibit? Imagineer Carmen Smith shares more:

Note that there is no official opening date for “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure.” All we know is that it will open next month.

Also, not confirmed, though highly suspected – this exhibit will be replacing the current exhibit that can be found in the American Heritage Gallery. That exhibit is called “Creating Tradition: Innovation and Change in American Indian Art.” It has been found in the park since August 2018.

Stay tuned for more details about what to expect with this exhibit, when it officially opens.
