Exciting news friends! More and more Disney characters are returning to the parks and soon!
First things first, fans of the hit movie, Encanto are able to see Mirabel beginning on June 26 at the Magic Kingdom! They will find her as part of the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade! (So, no you won’t be able to hug her, but you can wave hello!) She’ll be a part of the parade alongside Miguel from “Coco,” Nick and Judy from “Zootopia,” Max Goof, Moana and more. This cavalcade will take place at the park several times each day.
Someone that you will soon be able to hug again though is Minnie Mouse! She’ll be joining Mickey at the Town Square Theater in the Magic Kingdom beginning on July 6. Best of all, both will be dressed in their EARidescent attire that was designed specifically for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration.
Another fun activity returning on July 6 will be the Chip ‘N Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Here Guests can join the duo for a campfire celebration followed by a classic Disney movie under the stars.
Heading back to the Magic Kingdom, on July 10 both Peter Pan and Snow White will greet Guests once again.
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Star Wars Launch Bay will be returning on July 17! Star Wars Launch Bay is the place for a hug with Chewbacca, a face-to-droid encounter with BB-8 or a run-in with Darth Vader himself. (Wait….did they say Darth Vader?)
More Disney Entertainment Coming Soon
That’s just the beginning of the entertainment fun! That’s because in the upcoming months, Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom will soon be able to meet other favorites. They will include Aladdin, Jasmine, Merida, Pooh, Tigger and Storybook Circus pals like The Great Goofini in Pete’s Silly Sideshow.
In addition, Guests’ favorite toys will be ready for playtime in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Plus Donald Duck and friends will rejoin “Donald’s Dino-Bash!” in DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
