The film will combine both Coco‘s music and characters with Donald Duck’s storyline. It will be the first time that both Pixar and Walt Disney Animation studio characters will appear together on screen. In addition, one of the film’s original composers, Germaine Franco, has produced a score unique for Mickey’s PhilharMagic.
And good news! The scene is not a replacement for another scene. It is actually an addition to the film’s line up! So Guests will still be able to sing along to favorites from Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and more.
This new scene is being added as part of the celebration of the Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary. The scene has actually already opened Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Paris back on July 17.
