Disney has shared today that Guests will once again be able to meet their favorite Disney characters in the traditional way soon! That’s right, distanced meets will soon be a thing of the past. You’ll be able to pose for pictures and actually hug Mickey, get an autograph from Elsa, and share a laugh with Goofy. This all goes down beginning April 18! Starting that date, Guests will be able to greet their favorite characters at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, on Disney Cruise Line and at Aulani!
This has been something people have been missing so much since the pandemic caused this practice to stop. While not all locations will be available immediately, they will be reopening in phases throughout the spring and early summer.
