Walt Disney World Resort Bringing Back International Cast Members This Summer

This is definitely exciting news! International Cast Members will be welcomed back to the Walt Disney World Resort beginning this summer! Disney Cultural Representatives will be returning in phases beginning in August!

This is such amazing news as these Cast Members help to share authentic stories about their countries’ culture, heritage, and traditions in the resorts, World Showcase Pavilions, and other areas around the theme parks. These Cast Members were initially sent home at the start of the pandemic, but with the return of international travel and the expansion of vaccine availability around the world, the Walt Disney World Resort is excited to welcome them back! (And trust me….fans are super excited too!)

This is all being done in a thoughtful and responsible way with the safety of Cast Members in mind. With this phased re-introduction, Guests will initially start seeing international Cast Members in Germany, Norway, Italy, France, UK, and Canada for World Showcase at EPCOT.

So if you are like us, we’re eagerly counting down the days until these Cast Members are back! We will continue to keep you updated about additional changes to the parks here at The Mouse For Less, so stay tuned.
