It’s official! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will finally open on May 27, 2022 at EPCOT!
The attraction, which is based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Guardians of the Galaxy films, will be a family-thrill coaster. As the story goes, the people from the planet Xandar are coming to Earth. They are creating the first “other-world” showcase at EPCOT. The Wonders of Xandar pavilion will have Guests learning more about Xandar’s technology and culture. In addition, we’ll be able to learn how our two worlds are similar.
The story will begin with chaos breaking out at the Nova Corps outpost on Earth, as things begin to “rewind” and disappear. The Guardians of the Galaxy pick up the SOS from Nova Corps. They answer the call by putting their ship into high gear en route to EPCOT.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is in the former Universe of Energy Pavilion in the new World Discovery section of the park.
