In a move that, I’m not going to lie, complete shocked me today, Disney has shared that beginning this evening, January 10, they will no longer be charging Guests for overnight self parking. That’s right, parking at Disney Resorts hotels will be complimentary once again at the Walt Disney World Resort. (I had to repeat it because I still don’t believe it!)
This is huge news for those who drive to Walt Disney World or rent a vehicle and it’s especially huge due to the fact that Disney Magical Express ended last year.
Disney introduced the parking fees at Resort Hotels back in 2018. The pricing up until today was:
- Disney Value Resorts:Â $15 per night
- Disney Moderate Resorts:Â $20 per night
- Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts:Â $25 per night
As a reminder, Disney Resort hotel guests also continue to receive complimentary standard parking at Walt Disney World theme parks, as well as complimentary on-site transportation options such as buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner.
