Earlier this summer, Walt Disney World made changes to Disney Genie+. They moved five attractions off the Individual Lightning Lane list, meaning that if you wanted to ride these five attractions, you would have to buy access to each of these attractions on an individual basis. These five attractions instead, were offered through the regular Disney Genie+ service.
This was to only be offered through August 7 for the following attractions:
- Magic Kingdom: Space Mountain
- EPCOT: Frozen Ever After; Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
These attractions will now be offered on a full time basis as part of Disney Genie+, not as part of the Individual Lightning Lane options instead of the previous seasonal status. Of course, this could change at any time.
Attractions that will remain as an option for the Individual Lightning Lane purchases will include Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and AVATAR: Flight of Passage.

As a reminder, the purchase of Disney Genie+ service is available in addition to a standby entrance. This service is only offered for purchase through the My Disney Experience app on the day of visit.
