To celebrate the spooky Halloween season, the Walt Disney World Resort will be holding the Disney After Hours Boo Bash. (Which means that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will not be happening this year.)
The Disney After Hours Boo Bash will take place at the Magic Kingdom and will run for 23 select nights from August until October. The event will take place on most nights from 9:00 p.m. to midnight. (However, there will be select event nights in August and September that will take place from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.)

The Boo Bash will be a limited-capacity, hard ticket event. Tickets will go on sale June 15. They can be purchased either online or by calling 407-939-4240. But, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you’ll be able to book tickets as early as June 8.
As far as pricing is concerned, tickets will range from $129 – $139, plus tax for August/September nights. In October, the cost will range from $159 – $169, plus tax. Finally, if you want to attend on Halloween, it will cost $199, plus tax. Those Guests who are Annual Passholders or Disney Vacation Club Members will be able to take advantage of a $10 discount for event nights in August and September. The best part is that purchasing these tickets means you are not required to purchase an additional theme park ticket for that day or make a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation.
Guests who attend the Disney After Hours Boo Bash will be able to enjoy the many special cavalcades that will pop up throughout the night. These will include:
- “Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade,” with Mickey Mouse and friends dressed up in their Halloween finest
- “Disney Villains Halloween Cavalcade,” where the villains will celebrate their favorite time of the year.
- “Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade” which will feature Jack Skellington, Sally and Oogie Boogie jamming out to “This is Halloween.”
- Maleficent will make an appearance in the form of a fire-breathing dragon.
In addition, Guests will find favorite characters throughout the park. For example, you will find Miss Carlotta at the Haunted Mansion, Goofy and Chip ‘n’ Dale dressed for Halloween, as well as other surprise characters popping up across the park, too. Guests will also be able to enjoy performances by the Cadaver Dans.
Throughout the evening, Guests will have the opportunity to experience more than 20 attractions. These attractions include Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Dumbo, Peter Pan’s Flight, Space Mountain and more.
Guests who attend this event will still be able to dress in costume. Do keep in mind that costume masks are not permitted for adults, however they can only be worn by children under 14.And for those who want to go trick or treating, you’ll be able to do that throughout the evening, as well.
Guests who attend this event will be able to enjoy complimentary snacks like ice cream novelties and popcorn, along with select beverages. These items are included in the cost of the event. There will also be a number of treats that will be available for purchase for those who would like.
Finally, Disney PhotoPass will be available to take magical and spooky photos throughout the night.
