We are about a year and a half out from the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort and to gear up for the celebration, it appears that Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom will be seeing a pretty gorgeous upgrade to make it just a bit more magical.
Beginning in the next few weeks and through the summer, Cinderella Castle will become more bold in color, add some shimmer, and become overall more royal with some fantastic touches of gold.
Above you’ll see the concept image of what the newly-enhanced castle will look like when work is completed.
One thing to keep in mind is that this update will not impact the shows that occur including “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” and the nighttime fireworks spectacular “Happily Ever After.”
