Beauty and the Beast has always been one of my favorite Disney films. I have identified with Belle since childhood because I too, loved reading. She also had that spirit that I loved. Now, I’ll get to continue to live my excitement for the story with a brand new lounge that was announced for Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
The new lounge will replace Mizner’s Lounge and the Commander Porter’s shop at this Deluxe Resort. This new bar will be themed after the live action film that recently was in theaters. This new bar will feature four different spaces that Guests will be able to enjoy.
The signature bar will feature a large chandelier that will be located in the center of the room that is reminiscent of Beast’s Magical Rose colored gold to resemble Belle’s famous dress. There will also be the garden room, inspired by the forest around Beast’s castle. The next area will be a formal library showcasing traditional baroque design. Finally, there will be an outdoor patio that will be themed around Beast’s garden’s terrace.
This new Beauty and the Beast inspired lounge will officially open to Guests later this fall.
