Beginning on October 1, as part of The World’s Most Magical Celebration, Disney Resort Hotel Guests, as well as Guests at select other hotels will be able to enjoy the parks just a little bit early with Early Theme Park Entry. The Walt Disney World Resort is introducing this brand new offering for which will give Guests 30-minute early entry to any theme park, every single day.
This new option helps to better spread Guests out across all four theme parks, as well as give Guests more choices and added flexibility. Now Guests can choose which park they would like to visit in the morning. Plus, it also gives Guests staying onsite the perk of extra park time on each day of their vacation.
With this new addition, Disney has officially retired Extra Magic Hours. So, how is Early Theme Park Entry different than Extra Magic Hours? Extra Magic Hours would grant resort hotel Guests early entry to one specific theme park for an extra hour in the morning.
For those wishing to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry, Guests will need valid admission and a park reservation made via the Disney Park Pass system to enter a theme park.

To enter the park each morning, Guests must have valid theme park admission and MagicBand, Key to the World Card or Disney MagicMobile pass. They will need a Theme Park Reservation, too. Also, Guests without the Park Hopper Option or Park Hopper Plus Option must spend the day at the same park where they use their Early Theme Park Entry.
