Wonderful World of Animation is an excitement-packed 12 minute projection show will take you on an incredible journey through more than 90 years of Disney and Pixar animation.
Watch in wonder as the façade of the Chinese Theatre at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is magically transformed. This show is a stirring tribute to the fantastic animation that the company is known for. Behold spectacular sequences celebrating themes like magic, family, adventure, romance and friendship. Each theme is brought to life through unforgettable moments from beloved films—like Sleeping Beauty, The Incredibles, Coco and many more.
Of course, since we can never lose sight of the fact that it was all started with a mouse. The show fittingly begins and ends with the one-and-only Mickey Mouse.
Wonderful World of Animation is typically shown around 9:00 p.m. in the summer and earlier during fall and winter. Do keep in mind that this show may not occur every single night. Guests show check the My Disney Experience app for specific times.
The nighttime projection show is short and family friendly.
Wonderful World of Animation Viewing Locations
Wonderful World of Animation is best viewed from directly in front of the Chinese Theater. A location with a straight-on view of the theater is best found right between the large central stage and the big projection towers that flank Hollywood Boulevard. This area also makes for an easy exit from the park straight out the main gates once the show has ended.
